Listen… I am currently in school, taking this communication/writing course, and I decided to start this blog to document my foot journey — plus sprinkle in some family life because y’all know my people stay entertaining. But let me tell you something: this blogging tool? This WordPress learning curve? Baby, it is WORSE than my foot.

Here I am, trying to earn this PhD — yes, I said PhD — and let me be honest… this fifty‑something brain does not fire like it used to. But I can’t quit. I refuse. I’ve been preaching education to my son his whole life, so now I gotta walk the walk… or at least scoot the scoot until this foot heals.

My professor said, “Try something new, and I’m sure you all will love it.” Well… I don’t know who she was talking about, because I have made more adjustments than a mechanic fixing a 1992 Honda. I’m editing while publishing, republishing while editing, and praying Grammarly catches everything I don’t.

So if you see duplicates? Mind your business — I’ll fix them later.

If you see typos? Blame Grammarly, not me.

If something disappears next week? Just know I’m getting graded, so I’m cleaning up before I share my link with the world.

I’ll be posting again after my 1‑month appointment so I can keep y’all updated on this Foot Chronicle journey. Hopefully I get cleared for something — footology, pre‑PT, post‑PT, whatever they want to call it. Let’s just see what the doctor says.
